Marina open 7 days a week with shortened Fall hours.

Walleye

A few are being caught, but not many.

 Try vertical jigging the drop-offs. Good Luck!

White Bass

Still seeing some Shad schooling as well as seagulls. Most White Bass being caught around the dam trolling or also Bone Cove area. Troll until you find them schooling, then Jig for best results.  Other hot spots are the pipeline and Methodist. Night fishing is still going.

 Crappie

 Starting to see a few more crappie and bluegill. Try back in the coves for best luck.

Large Mouth Bass

Haven’t seen any lately.

Catfish

 Catfish are being caught below the dam in the spillway. On the lake try shrimp.  

Wipers

Great lake for the Wipers. Try also in the spillway. Most are being caught while fishing for white bass.

 Northern

Have heard of a few being caught while fishing for other species.

Merlyn Egger from Roca, NE caught this Master Angler Wiper 10.6 lbs, 27 inches on 8/2/08.   7.9 lb wiper caught  on 7-12-08 by Fred Hansen Wipers caught 6-29-08 by Bob & Brenda Hemje Bobs 5.9 lbs & Brendas 7.5 lbs        Roger Krueger from Hasting caught this        26lbs 5oz, 34 inch Master Angler CARP              along with the 13.5lbs catfish in the spillway below the dam.   Tracy Day's grandson Zane is having a great day   Wilbur Cox caught this Master Angler Wiper 6/13/08   Justin Dorn caught this Master Angler 11 lb Wiper on 5-20-08   Photo during weigh in during the Harlan Angler's Tournament. John Roads from Alma brought in a 7.08 lbs Walleye   Sally Wilson from Franklin brings in a Master Angle  Wiper. 25 1/2 inch, 8.3lb     Dusty Redding, from Larned, KS caught Master Angler Wiper 8 lbs 3 oz   A Master Angler White Bass, 17inches, 2.8 lbs. Most are mistaken for a Wiper, but must look at the tongue patch. Dave Dorn from Cortland, NE   Walt Hoyle and Robert Johnston (Beatrice & Cortland) had a good day of fishing for Wipers & White Bass at the mouth of Patterson Harbor cove on Tuesday 9/11/07   Wiper caught by Darin Krueger from Cortland  6.5lbs, 25 1/2 inches. Catfish caught by Ron McGuire from Grand Island.   Ben Boell from Republican City caught a 20 inch walleye on Sunday July 1st   Jade Johnson and Austin Envick caught a 4.1 lb wiper  that was 21.5 inches long on Saturday June 30th     Dan from Hastings with a nice Wiper   Kenny Adams of Hastings caught this 45.3 lb. catfish on 5/7/07   Great day of fishing on 4/23/07. Curt and Zag Pikschus of Lincoln shows off their Walleye.   Sandra Daehling from Lincoln with a Master Angler Catfish caught on 7/21/06. 10lbs 4oz, 30 1/2 inches.       Hank Emodson from Kenesaw with a 16 1/2 lb 34 inch Channel Cat caught on 7-12-06     13.8 lbs, 30 1/2 inches Blue Catfish.
